Electerre de France develops methods, techniques and tools for the assembly and management of its projects.

Our skills:

  • Integration of the trades: carrying out studies of opportunities, feasibility studies, project management of geothermal exploitation programs
  • Financial and legal engineering: investment, evaluation and control of financial risk, preparation of financing files (bank loans, aid ...). Administrative and legal aspects of projects.
  • Territorial integration: spatial planning, local acceptance of projects, communication

Specific know-how:

  • Data acquisition
  • Method of analysis and interpretation of data

Electerre de France has developed a tool for measuring the flow of soil gas. There is a natural production of gas on the surface of the soil, linked, for example, with vegetation and especially with the presence of bacteria. But the subsoil, especially in the volcanic, faulted or limestone areas, also releases gases including CO2. The rise of these gases reflects the presence of zones of permeability between the geothermal reservoir and the surface.

Research and Development

Electerre's objective is to contribute by its know-how and its projects to the development of geothermal energy in France, for that it engages and invests in research, in particular within the Geodenergies scientific interest grouping.

Established officially on July 15, 2015, with the support of the investment program for the future, Géodénergies promotes the emergence of sectors dedicated to carbon-free energy, mobilizing the subsoil.

Among the first five projects launched, Electerre takes part in three of them. They are REFLET, TEMPERER and CARPHYMPCHEAU.

  •     Project Reflection

It consists in optimizing the deep geothermic in a collapse ditch. Methodology for the construction of a conceptual model of geothermal reservoir of fault type, it aims to reduce the geological uncertainties and allow the industrial reproducibility of a deep geothermal exploitation in such a geological context on the scale of France, in Alsace , Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne ...

  •     Project Temperer

It aims to develop the use of passive seismic techniques for the exploitation, monitoring and evaluation of the dynamic behavior of a deep geothermal reservoir.

  •     Project Carphymcheau

It aims to improve the knowledge of geothermal heat exchangers and to apply it to concrete geothermal projects in volcanic zones or deep geothermal environments.
